WHAT?!? Another tooth!

While we were at Pizza Hut for lunch today, I looked Kerri Ann while she was talking and noticed that her tooth looked a little funny. This is the one on the opposite side of her mouth from the one she lost yesterday! I wiggled it and said it is not going to be very long before it comes out (thinking in a few days). So we went and got our pizza and salad then sat down to eat. KA was eating her bell pepper and said, "my tooth just came out!" There was no blood at all! She is the first child that has lost a tooth somewhere other than at home (well Em lost her's at Nana and Poppa's but that still counts as a home). I had to put it in my pocket and hope that I didn't lose it! She has now lost 4 baby teeth and they are ALL on the bottom, no top teeth yet. But since her fall yesterday I don't think that it will be long before they come out too! Looks like the Tooth Fairy will be visiting again! Don't think that she will be getting $5.00 again though!

If you enlarge I think you will be able to tell that
she is sticking her tongue into both empty spaces!

Her right side (this is for my memory). I couldn't
get her to hold her mouth open for me to get a good
shot of both missing teeth!

This is a pretty good picture of her missing teeth!

Tooth Fairy and Fat Lip

This morning at 1 am Kerri Ann came into our room to say that she wanted to sleep with us. I told her no that she had to sleep in her bed. She said but I am lonely. So, I decided that she could go sleep with her sissy! I walked her to Emily's room, she had to go get her "cold" pillow first. She got into Emily's bed without waking Em up and I went back to sleep. WELL... at 5:30 am I am awaken by her screaming and crying. My first thought was that Emily didn't like her being in there or that KA had awaken and not remembered where she was, and I was met at my doorway by Emily. She told me that KA had fallen off the bed. I get to Em's room and see KA laying in the middle of Em's bed face down. I get her to look at me and blood is on one side of her face and on the other side her lip was huge. Then she opens her mouth and I see something hanging from the top of her mouth, it was her bottom tooth! It had been loose, but was probably a week or two away from coming out! As I looked more closely at her teeth a couple hours later it looks as if her top left (top right if looking at her) tooth has a greenish gray spot on it, I am thinking that maybe the fall hurt the tooth, at least it is a baby tooth! She now has lost 3 teeth and they are all on the bottom! I think that the tooth fairy will be bringing extra money for the trauma she went through!

Missing tooth and fat lip!

Still beautiful!
UPDATED:

First Day of 1st grade and 4th grade...

WOW!!! WHERE did the summer go!?!?! I was in denial until I dropped them off and then I am still thinking that it is only for the day and that summer will be back tomorrow! I still have to update for June, July and the beginning of August. But I wanted to get school pictures on the blog for grandparents, bestie, and sister Tiffy. Both girls were excited about a new school year. Last night as we were getting ready for school Kerri Ann asked me if I really thought that she was going to have a good day tomorrow? I told her that I thought she was going to have a great day and a great year! Here's to the 2010-2011 school!

Emily: 4th grade (LOVE this picture)

Kerri Ann: 1st grade (oh my! I am going to have to
admit that she looks like her Daddy! I was hoping
one looked like me :0)!

Besties! As a 4th grader Em gets to wear a plaid
skirt instead of the plaid jumper.

All ready to go!

May Happenings....

Since I am so far behind I decided to put all of what went on in May in one post. May had a LOT of things going on since it was the end of school.

On May 6th, Emily's class had a competition to see who would present their Fable at Oratory Night (1 person from each grade 1st - 12 grade, some of the upper grades had more than one person). The 3rd graders work on rewriting Fables in their own words through out the year. Then they choose their top 3 that they thought was best and the teacher chose the one they were to memorize and say for the competition in their class. On this day the students were able to wear church clothes instead of their uniforms.

Emily getting ready to present her Fable, she did an
awesome job, but was not the one picked for her class.
The boy that won did a great job too.

May 7th:

The NILD students and therapists had a pizza party for all the hard work that was done through out the whole year. Siblings and parents were invited to come to it too.

Mother's Day weekend. About a week before Mother's Day Scott and I took the girls to Starving Artists Studios to make plates for me Mother's Day. While there we made the grandmother's one too. On their's we used both girls' hands to make a heart. On Sunday the children's choirs sang a song at the beginning of each church service for the Moms.

My plates, flowers, and homemade cards. I
LOVED how the plates turned out!!

May 10th: KA's class went on a field trip. This was really one of their first "real" field trips (they had went to sing at a retirement center and a trip back in Oct. to the pumpkin patch had been cancelled), to the Virginia Living Museum. KA was paired up with her BFF so she was a happy camper.

We had the most fun watching the otters play.
This is the first time that we had been where
they were this active!
May 15th: KA had a birthday party to go to. They had a bounce house and slide in one, in the backyard. They had hotdogs and burgers for lunch and then cupcakes and ice cream. It was a hot day and the bounce house kept burning the kids feet, but a fun time was had by all.

I just thought this picture was so cute!
Weekend of May 21st: My BFF, Jolene, came to visit me from Mobile!! While the girls were in school we went to the outlet mall in Williamsburg. We didn't get many pictures while on our outings, but we had a great visit with one another!! Thanks Jolene for coming to visit!

Jolene's FAVORITE store.

Jolene spent a lot of money in this store so that I could
get these Water Bottles for the girls! That is what I call
a GREAT friend!!!

Catching up.....

Back during Easter/Spring Break we went shopping with Nana and Gran Gran. The girls were able to each get 2 dresses and another outfit. One of the dresses that the girls got had a matching dress for their dolls....

Our rose bush has 2 different color roses this year.
Last year it was just the orange ones, this year orange

Kerri Ann's Baptism...

On May 23, 2010 Kerri Ann asked Jesus into her heart. Since we were in GA and AL for a couple Sunday's after that we decided to wait until today to have her baptized, that way Nana and Poppa would be here and wouldn't have to make another trip.
Kerri Ann has been talking to us and asking questions for a year now. But she had in her own mind that the only way to become a Christian was to be baptized and her fear to be baptized kept her from wanting to come forward. She would tell us that she had asked Jesus into her heart, but that she was not a Christian because she wasn't baptized. It really didn't matter what we told her this was always her response. Within the last few months I would hear her praying the sinners prayer with different special speakers, but still didn't want to go forward. Well, on May 28th, the new student building had a grand opening and Scott took the girls. While they were there she told Scott that she had prayed the prayer, so he told her that he would talk to her about it at home. But that weekend was a busy weekend. We took out the special speaker, Bobby Welch on the 29th. Well after he finished speaking on Sunday morning he asked those who wanted to say the sinners prayer and again KA did this. This time when I asked her if she wanted to go forward she hesitated and I said that is fine, but she really needed to go forward at some point but only when she was ready. At that point she took me by the finger and drug me down the aisle!! She was ready! She talked to one of the decision counselors and had a good understanding of what she was doing. She knew that she had asked Jesus into her heart, because she was a sinner and she needed his forgiveness. There was no fear at all of being baptized either (I think that it helped that she had spent the week at Nana and Poppa's pool and learned to put her head underwater!). It is awesome to know that my 2 girls will be with me in Heaven! God is good!!

Mary Carol made them. So cute!! THANKS Aunt Mary Carol!!
