First off, there are TONS of pictures!!! Secondly, these are mostly pics that I put on FB (a few new). When I first woke up at 4:30 am on Saturday, January 30th, I was disappointed. We had expected there to be tons of snow when we woke up and it was only a dusting of snow on the ground and was not snowing at the time. So, we went back to sleep. When we woke up at 7 am there was at least 2 inches of snow on the ground!! We were all so excited. It was coming down in small flakes, but tons of it! It pretty much snowed ALL day long! I have never seen this much snow. By evening there was 7" of snow, with 10" drifts. It had stopped snowing by evening. But when we went to bed, Scott said it had started snowing again. I will finish that in another post...
Here are some pictures from the day (did I mention there are a TON!):

Samantha watching out the window and wondering
what all that white stuff is.

Emily and Sami all snuggled up and keeping warm.

11:15 am. This is pretty much how it stayed on the
bird bath. It didn't get much higher.

Ready to go outside. And yes, KA's jacket got
zipped and hood put on before going out! We
went and bought them rainboots (all we could
find) on Friday. They have on 3 layers of clothing!
Plus their jacket is a 3-in-1 jacket.

Let's go.... Look at her feet sinking into the snow!

Always have to make a snow angel!!
KA wanted to eat some snow. I was going to
make snow ice cream, but we didn't have any
vanilla :-(

Monkey See, Monkey Do

KA making a snow castle!!! The snow was too
dry to make a snowman.

Front of the house.

My feet print. Just showing how deep it is.

2nd time out pictures:

Another footprint to show how deep.
this one was on the side of the house where
the drifts were deeper.

Who is that masked man?

I have on at least 6 sweatshirt/long sleeve/ jackets!!
And I had on pj flannel pants, jeans, and sweatpants.
That is why I look like the Pillsbury dough boy!!!

This is where KA was keeping her snowballs for
the snowball fight.

Mommy's snow castle.

Cheese!

This is down the street from us and across the
street from the airport.

We don't have any kind of snowboards, so
Daddy just pulled them down (only once each
the wind was really bad away from all the houses).

Em's turn!

See those red cheeks!

Heading back home to go warm up.
