HisStory Faire

Each year Summit has a HisStory Faire in which each grade dresses up in costumes that represent the time period that they study throughout the year. K5 studies Colonial Time and 3rd study the Greece and the Greek gods. Then they will march into the gym in chronological order sing a song or two and then there are booths set up by each class. There is a craft, food item and items that students have made for you to buy with tickets. And at some point during the evening each grade performs on the stage. Emily's class did a sound off (each student has a part and they will all say some parts together) on the Greek gods and goddesses and they sang the greek alphabet. Kerri Ann's class recited part of the Declaration of Independence and sang some songs that they had learned. It was a great evening.

Aphrodite. Their class made their chitons during
school one day. Emily was sick the day they did
this and chose to let her classmates make hers for
her. They did a super job.
