Birthday presents for all the girls...

My bff, Jolene, sent the girls and I some YELLOW BOX flip flops. We have had a hard time finding really cute ones here and so for our birthdays she sent us all some!! Emily got the pink with orange polka dots and Mine & KA's are matching, green with pink polka dots! THANKS JOLENE, we LOVE them!!!!

School Project

During March, Emily's class had a book report project to do on an animal. Emily choose a Dolphin. We had to make 23 fact cards, 1 glossary card, and 1 reference card (total of 25 cards). We also had to make either the animal or the animals habitat, we chose habitat and to buy the animal. Last, we had to write a one minute report on the facts and Em had to present them to her class. She did a WONDERFUL job!!! She read many books about dolphins and picked out the facts that she wanted to let her class know about, I typed the facts, and she cut and glued the facts onto the cards. Then as a family we made the habitat.

I copied them on the printer) and KA drwe the dolphin.
Em and KA both drew the shells on the "floor" of the
ocean, and Daddy drilled holes in the dolphin and hung
him for us.

More Snow!

We have never seen this much snow before. After the BIG snow at the end of Jan./ beginning of Feb. we really didn't play in it any other time we got it, but I did get pictures. I don't think that the snow lasted long this day, it all started running together!

Valentine's Day

Emily is home sick from church today, so I am going to play a little catching up on my blog, starting with Valentine's Day! That is how far behind I am!


Emily saw this pillow and REALLY wanted it. I couldn't
find it at first and bought another one, which I told her
I was going to have to get a different one, she was
disappointed. But a few days before Valentine's Day
I found the RIGHT one!!

Emily's Party....

For Emily's 9th Birthday she wanted to have a spend the night party. She invited a friend from school and a friend from church that is Kerri Ann's age. The girls came over around 3:30 Friday afternoon (the 26th). The played for a while and then we had pita pizzas. We all made our own... forgot to take pictures! Then we opened gifts. Then had cookie cake and chocolate cake. Then they painted a flower shaped trinket box, played a little while and then watched the movie "Princess Protection Program." Then bedtime, we split them up: the older 2 upstairs, the younger 2 in KA's room. They actually slept well. For breakfast Scott made pancakes. It was a fun party!!
