10 year old Party!!!

On February 25, 2011, Emily had a party to celebrate her 10th birthday! Her actual b'day is on February 27th. For her party she invited 3 friends from school to come over from 2pm to 9pm, Scott thought I had lost my mind!! But I did it as a kind of spend the night party without staying overnight!!! Alana and Devan rode home from school with us and Gabrielle and her sister Julianna (Kerri Ann's BFF from school) came a little later. When we got home from school the girls just played in the playroom and outside. Around 4:30 Scott and Poppa went to get the pizza.

had for Sweet 16 party, but I got the things that didn't

have "Sweet 16" written on it (tablecloth, cups and

small napkins). She LOVED it!!

The goodie bags! Nail Polish, Lip gloss, and

fingernail file. Very girly!!

After pizza, the girls made necklaces and bracelets.

We planned to watch Secretariat, but the girls just wanted to play. So they played and KA and J watched Pollyworld movie. Then it was time to go home. The girls were saying that this was the best party EVER, it made me feel good, even if they were going to say that about the next party they went too!!

More of May Happenings

LOTS AND LOTS of PICTURES!!!! Trying to finish up all of May. Then hopefully I can get June and July and I think I will be caught up!

I forgot about all the end of the year things the girls both did when I made the May Happenings before!

For Emily's End of the Year Party (3rd grade), they got to go to their teacher's house!! Here are a few of the thing they did while they were at her house....

They each brought pictures, from a disc that the teacher gave them of all the pictures that had been taken through out the year, and made small scrapbook!!

They had a mystery lunch, meaning that they had to order their items off of a menu that was done in code and they had no idea what course, utensils, drink, etc they were getting. They main course was pizza, I think Em got her pizza at the end, and got fruit and jello first and dessert 2nd. The ingredients on the pizza were also coded! Em had to be coached a little on this one, she wasn't quite liking not getting thing in the "right" order, but she ended up having a good time!
